How much commission does a Scentsy Consultant make?
Hey There! Since your here you must be thinking that Scentsy is a great way to make some extra cash! I know when I was first thinking about selling Scentsy I was really curious as to how much money I could actually make selling Scentsy but there wasn’t really a good answer out there. I’ll try to break it down for you a little so maybe it’ll help you decide if Scentsy is right for you or not!! 🙂
When you first join you start as an Escential Consultant making 20% commission on your sales. Once you reach $1000 in sales, which happens a lot faster than you expect, you receive a promotion to Certified Consultant and then earn 25% commission. You will then earn 25% commission from there on out. If you sell over $2000 in one month though for that month you will earn a 5% bonus making it 30%!
Some consultants sell Scentsy just for a little extra cash and others do it for a living. One lady in my downline is doing it so she can take her kids to Disney World! So your income could range from $100 to thousands a month. I know a consultant who made over $10,000 in one month! It all depends on how much you want to put into your business. And it might take a little time to get to the thousands a month income. The consultant who made over $10,000 in one month though has only been selling for 3 years, really not too bad at all! SuperStar Directors can be making 6 figures a year!
Let’s just do a scenario so you can see about how many parties you would need to do to make $1,000 per month. If you have no downline and all your income is solely based on your sales, you will need $3,500 in sales to make $1,050 in commission. If an average party is $500 in sales then that comes out to 7 parties a month! That’s 2 parties a week, not too bad at all! And some could even be basket parties which require less work. Think about it…if a party is 2 hours and then about another hour pulling together the orders that’s 21 hours of work for $1,050! That’s $50 an hour!!!
Now those numbers were based on only doing sales. I can almost guarantee that if you start doing 7 parties a month you will start getting recruits. Every recruit I have has approached me about selling after having a party. Once you start getting consultants below you then you start making money off of their sales too which in the end can be a huge way to make a substantial income. Then you won’t need to have as many parties a month to meet your financial goal.

A: At Scentsy we realize that, even with the best of intentions on both sides, not all partnerships are meant to be. As a Consultant or a Host you’re free to leave Scentsy at any time. There is no cancellation penalty.
